One Ticklish Boy

Every time Sawyer lays down he's just so giggly. We kiss and tickle him all over and he just loves it. It's by far my favorite sound in the world.

Happy 5 Month Birthday Sawyer!

Sawyer is 5 months old today!! He is over 17 pounds now and loves to giggle and blow bubbles. His hair got so long that it actually lays flat on his forehead now. He can almost roll over...he gets his hips and legs all the way over but 1 arm gets stuck and prevents him from mastering the roll. Soon enough...I'm in no rush. We're enjoying every second with him.

These days Sawyer is sporting the reverse mullet. Business in the back, party in the front. He has his priorities straight. He rubs his head back and forth when he lays down so it's gotten much thinner in the back...but the front and sides keep going strong! His bangs touch his eyebrows if I don't sweep them to the side. I don't think I'm ready for a haircut just yet though...

Best Friends

Sawyers best friend was born 10 days ago...Anna & Lenny's baby boy, Joneaux Porter Nevares.

Lenny & Willie grew up across the street from each other and have been best friends since elementary school. We even live on the same street again so were hoping the boys will be close friends too.

I think Sawyer already likes him :)

Ang & Roy

Angela and her brother Roy drove down and spent the weekend with us. They had never seen Sawyer before and it had been over 3 and a half years since I had seen them. Sawyer loved staring at Ang and smiling and Giacomo loved barking at Roy (he warmed up eventually but boy, is Giac protective of his baby).

We had a great time just hanging out playing cards...and they almost got to witness Sawyer rolling over for the first time. He rotates from side to side but hasn't mode the shift all the way over yet...I'm sure it's coming any day now!

Sawyer's First Thanksgiving

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving at Danika's house this year. Sawyer was a little sick but I had taken him to the doctor the day before and it was apparently just a common cold. Still, it was so sad seeing his extra rosie cheeks and hearing him cough. He's all better now, thank goodness. That was one first I wasn't excited about.
